I want to sell something

But what?????

I've been thinking about it for days.

1) Homemade Food - I can't really cook and I can't commit to cooking, even I haven't had a homecooked meals for days. Let alone to cook for some else.

2) Someone else made food - but what? Someone wants me to sell something? better something that has a high profit margin, I won't settle for anything less than RM100 profit per item. Haha.

3) Books - I don't know who to sell them to. and where to get cheap books.

4) Pearls - Ella volunteered to check it out in Labuan. But then again, who should I sell it to? And I don't think it's a good business.

5) Clothes - I'm not fashionista like Noreen. So, I probably won't know what's good. Besides, I would need a model to model the clothes. And money to buy it. And a place to buy it cheap. Damn!

6) ??????

I envy the people that has a business, like my bestie Yani. She has an online store selling baby clothes and she's doing it so well!! She even appeared in TV and in newspapers. I guess I just don't have a business bone in me. :(

Oh well, if you guys have aaaany ideas at all what to sell, pleasee let me know. I want to sell something! Anything!

Love the way you lie part 2

There is a part 2!

I love "Love the way you lie", the one that is supposedly to be part 1, the one with a lot more rapping from Eminem. Now, they came up with part 2 and I love it too! But I don't think it's getting as much hit as part 1. But I like the lyrics and the music (it's pretty much the same music) and there's Eminem too. So, what's not to like?

Did you know according to Wikipedia, the music video for "Love the way you lie" was such a phenomenon and it broke the You Tube's most watch in 24 hours. But I don't think it is that good. I for one hate that they use Megan Fox, for two reasons:

1) It's weird when you know someone in a music video other than singer themselves.

2) I just hate Megan Fox. I don't think she's pretty or sexy or any other stuff that guys talked about her. And I think she's such a fake and lack of personality and should never appear in any movies. Fuhh..talk about hating a celebrity.

Anyway, I was never really a big fan of Eminem. I think he was cute but I don't know much of his song. But this one make me googled him and found out that he was in an abusive relationship, with Kim, his ex wife. Then, I went on reading about him. About his other songs, affair and such. Guess what I found out? Eminem used to date Mariah Carey!

Okay, maybe it wasn't such a big news since it was old news. But it is very much new to me and I just can't believe it. I mean, Mariah & Eminem. It just doesn't make sense! I for one cannot understand how Eminem can like Mariah. She's such a Diva and he's just.. not. Not that being Diva is cool. I don't like Mariah either.

I mean, look at them. They look so wrong! so wrong! Anyway, I found out that it was quite a big thing, about their affair. It was out in the open, they wrote about it in their songs. It seems that Mariah did not admit of the existence of the affair but Eminem said he had proves (all this said in several songs) and Mariah kept quiet at last. Did you know that the song "Obsessed" by Mariah was written for Eminem? She said Eminem was obsessed with her? What a screw up world we are living in today. sigh.

Speaking of Mariah, I'm now being reminded of my old boss. We used to go outstation together, and he would put on Mariah Carey's music videos and he cannot stop talking about her! The way she moves her body, the way they don't really have to move in order to look sexy and the way she moves her butt. And I have to endure 3 hours of that: watching and listening. Oh those good old days. not.

On French Food

My boss gave me a bag of cookies just now and I gave one to a colleague of mine. In a mouthful, he said "This is really good. What is it?

Well, not butter actually, it is a butter cookie, but a good, expensive branded one that uses real and plenty of butter. No wonder it's good!

Have you ever watched that movie Julie & Julia?

It is one of my favorite movies. Well, maybe not favorite but I always like a movie about food, err.. well, cooking..

Anyway, I wouldn't have known Julia Child if not because of that movie. Funny how I have never heard of her because I adore French Cooking. I have this one thick French Cook book at home that I love to read. I know we are supposed to "do", not "read" cookbook but the French Cooks are soooo patient with their ingredients, their fresh eggs, and cheese and those perfect measurement that I could never keep up with it to actually cook it.

Believe it or not, of that thick cook book of mine, it contains only a few recipes. What makes it thick? The French goes all their way to elaborate to the very minor detail on how a certain dish needs to be cooked or what kind of pan needed for the crepes and to emphasize that YOU MUST USE FRESH EGG. But that is true with their cooking, it has to be precise or else you will fail. Your angel food cake won't attract the angels. (please note that angel food cake is not of France origin)

I managed to cook one recipe from my French Cookbook, it's a heartshaped cookies with strawberry jam filling. After hours of sweating in the kitchen I managed to filled in less than half of my cookie jar and that was finished by my mother in just a glance. It was a heavenly taste but I just don't feel like making it again.

I love french food. Actually I love food in general but it is just that this is my French food phase. What makes them so great, you say? Butter of course! and plenty of it!

Have anyone ever told you that whenever you have cold or fever and the doctors gave you paracetamol/ panadol that it won't actually cure you?

When you were a kid maybe?

Well, someone did told me that. So, for quite sometime I believed it and spread it around to all my friends at school how we shouldn't take the medicine and the doctors are trying to make money out of it. I was told that the panadol/ paracetamol is actually a type of pain killer and it really does nothing to your fever except that it will keep you drugged to make you feel comfortable. Since I have sworn off drug since I was a kid (my dad was diabetic and he took plenty of medicines so he wanted us to stay off drugs as much as we can), my solution is that to take as much as possible of warm water and a proper rest.

Well, that was maybe 5 years ago. Is it true?

Do you know what causes fever? Or what causes your body temperature to go up?

What happens is that when there is a nasty bacteria in your body, your body will try to destroy. This 'destroying' act is actually by increasing your body temperature. While this heat kills/ destroys the bacteria, it also causes discomfort to you. So, it is not wrong for a doctor to give you whatever painkiller it is to make you comfortable. It is just until the war ended and you'll be healthy again. Yeay!

Nevertheless, it is a personal choice whether or not to take the pain killer. But for the past 5 years, my body is not that strong anymore to fight heat naturally. So, I took them painkillers!

Besides, it's different now when you are working. People expect you to be at the office even when your are at your deathbed. Unless your boss allows you to take proper rest at the office, I'll say stuff up on the biogesic or whatnot.

My temperature is now 102.4F and my head feels like someone has stabbed it to pieces. I can't barely walk but I'm still at the office. So, I decided to write a blog.
